Who was that smiling face? Chances are, that smile belonged to a Paradise Valley Hospital volunteer. These friendly faces are found in almost every area of the hospital, completing various tasks. They can be seen providing general information, providing comfort to a family, delivering flowers, escorting a visitor or assisting with clerical tasks.

You've probably thought about becoming a volunteer but wonder how and where to start. Paradise Valley Hospital is a great place to start because...

What kind of volunteer opportunities are offered?
We have a wide range of volunteer positions in patient and non-patient areas. These include: outpatient reception desk, information desk, emergency department, nursing units, rehabilitation, medical staffing, and medical records. You can volunteer during the day, in the evening or on the weekends. We will work with your schedule.
Won't you join our team?
In order to volunteer at Paradise Valley Hospital we require that you be in good health, commit to at least four hours per week and be at least 16 years of age. Volunteer candidates must complete an application, interview and reference check, pass a tuberculosis (TB) skin test and show proof of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) immunization and chicken pox.
