The cardiovascular center consists of diagnostic and interventional catheterization labs, and cardiac rehabilitation. Your primary care physician or cardiologist may refer you to our hospital for tests, treatment, or rehabilitation.

Society of Chest Pain Center accredited Emergency Department

Expanded ability to address acute cardiac events through a fully cardiac monitored emergency department, which can reduce the damage caused by acute heart attacks.

Paradise Valley Hospital has made a significant commitment to providing quality heart care by applying for and receiving accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers, which demonstrates its commitment to nationally recognized protocol for the treatment of chest pain.

Cardiac Catheterization Lab

We are currently able to conduct minimally invasive procedures on the new Allura Xper FD10 X-ray system by Philips Medical Systems to treat a wide range of clinical problems including coronary artery disease - a leading cause of heart disorders in the U.S. These catheter-based procedures are designed to enhance therapeutic results and reduce the risks and recovery time found in traditional surgical approaches. Among the many benefits of catheter-based interventions are shorter hospital stays, reduced recovery time without the pain of a large incision, and minimal surgical scarring.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Paradise Valley Hospital offers a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program designed for patients recovering from cardiac events. The three-phased approach helps patients regain stamina and learn heart healthy lifestyle strategies. The program is customized based on a patient's individual situation and can include information and education on heart disease, nutrition, weight reduction, CPR, smoking cessation and risk factor modification.
